Time to celebrate

Throughout the year we coordinate special events and fundraisers. Come join, participate and support!

Millfields PSA are proud to announce something extremely special: On Saturday, 4th July 2026, we will hold THE SUMMER FAIR – WELL

It’s the Summer Fair as we know and love it with all the games, stalls, food, crafts and raffle but it will be bigger and better. With an opportunity for all Millfields pupils past and present to come and say farewell to our Jane, the most amazing head teacher who, after 27 years at the school, will be leaving at the end of the summer term. We can promise speeches, live music, dancing  and a much later bar. Please put the date in your diary and email [email protected] if you want to get involved at an early stage in helping plan this monumental event.

Tuck Shop (weekly)

The very popular Tuck Shop is run every Friday starting at 2:15pm. Each class takes turns and all proceeds raised go towards our annual fundraising for the school. Homemade bakes and snacks, sweet or savoury, or simply shop bought are all sold 50p a piece and must be halal and nut free, ensuring safety, fairness and inclusivity.

Spring Term Discos

The upper school enjoyed a majorly fun disco week. More than anything an opportunity for years 3-6 to let their hair down, have a mid-week dance. A social for parents and children alike.

Spooky Disco

Time for the kids to dress up and party!!!

Every Halloween children in Nursery to Year 2 are invited to the Spooky Disco with a live DJ, spooky decor and outfits… Yes, parents get to dress up too!

Parents can catch up and enjoy our bar with a selection of beers & wines. Hotdogs, pizzas, crisps, and lollies are also available to purchase (Halal and vegetarian options available) but all squash is on us!

Christmas Tree Sale

Our inaugural Christmas Tree sale was jolly and successful!
Many parents, carers and also neighbours bought Millfields trees. They were sensational Nordmann firs of uncommon quality. Delivered to the playground fresh from the farm at a great price point. We are most grateful to ZEN the zero emission network, who worked with pedalme cycle couriers to offer a free bike courier service.

Look out for more trees next Christmas!

Christmas Fair

The one and only – Millfields Christmas Fair is absolutely beloved by all!

Many activities, games and stalls are created and the whole playground is transformed into a huge festival (including Santa’s grotto) with carols sung by the school’s children choir and mulled wine smell all around. All sorts of food stalls are available, from warm soup to cakes & hot chocolate.

We open the fair to local artisans as well with the opportunity to run their external and independent stall.

Summer Fair

Millfields Summer Fair is our famous last event of the school year. You simply cannot miss it!

Estate Agent Boards

The PSA raises funds for the school by putting estate agent-style boards outside the homes of volunteers for a few weeks at a time.  These raise roughly £35 per board kindly donated by the partner business.

Thank you to all of the families that have hosted boards for us – the more families that sign up, the more we raise for the school.

Please reach out if you’re interested in hosting a board outside your home for 4-6 weeks, your next opportunity is our Easter campaign, which will be generously sponsored by Plus Rooms and Story of Home.

Uniform Exchange

By shopping from the school second hand uniform exchange store you are not only extending the useful life of clothes and keeping nearly new clothing out of landfill you are also supporting the PSA and SAVING MONEY!

The uniform exchange is priced on a pay what you feel donation or swap.

Simply select the items of clothing you need for your child, donate what you feel and pick up your uniform from reception at school or at the Tuck Shop the next Friday.

If you have a uniform that your child has grown out of please leave it at the school’s reception. Please, ensure that the clothing has been washed and is in a condition that you would be happy to receive yourself.

Jumble Trail

The annual event (usually in September) where Clapton becomes one giant yard sale! Meet your neighbours, sell your old stuff and pick up a bargain.

Clapton Jumble Trail continues to be a wonderful local event, and since 2018 it has doubled as a fundraiser for Millfields Community School. Donations from registering your stall will go directly to the school, so you will be helping and celebrating our community, recycling and bargain hunting. All profits from your stall are yours to keep.

Party Supplies

Two full size party kits which contain 20-30 plastic reusable cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, jugs and serving platters are available to make your next party a little greener. To hire (voluntary donation) please fill out the booking enquiry.
